《Physician’s Odyssey》Chapter 747 - Unspoken rule in Tourism

Su Tao’s life might seem to have returned to normal, but the outside world had changed because of his performance. Right now, the entire world has started to pay attention to TCM since it wasn’t the first time TCM had displayed such shocking potential.
Andrewson expressed his view on his social media account, stating that not only was the Serpentin, extracted from Balanophora Simaoensis, effective to combat the hepatitis virus, but it’s also effective in treating liver cancer. It was completely different from normal antibiotics since it didn’t kill the disease, but it provided the liver with self-regeneration to combat the disease.
Consuming Serpentin could strengthen the body’s ability to combat the disease, and it’s a great invention that wasn’t inferior to Arteannuin.
At the same time, Su Tao’s fan club had also soared to another level. Because of Su Tao resolving this epidemic crisis, he naturally became the focus of attention on social media, especially when controversies were leaning to his side, repackaging him into the new TCM hero.
Su Tao wasn’t old, and he’s even younger than many young idols in the showbiz industry. However, his outstanding appearance had attracted many young girls to idolise him.
At the same time, the TCM City Project in Hanzhou City had also been launched and the Old Street that surrounded Three Flavour Hall had been completely changed. Although the project had just been launched, there were still many tourists taking photos in the Old Street. Hence, the Old Street had become the center of Hanzhou City’s tourism attraction.
Aside from Three Flavour Hall, the other shops were also affected by it. Many old residents have also started to sell food and beverages, easily making a considerable sum of profit.
On the fourth day after Serpentin was made, the news reported that the epidemic had officially come to an end. With that, the panic slowly quenched, and Yundian Province’s tourism attractions have also been re-opened. Together with Yan Sha and Little Wen, the group went sightseeing.
Yundian Province was filled with scenery everywhere, and Yan Sha and Little Wen took many photos in the process. When they went on the bus, Su Tao saw Yan Sha and Little Wen fiddling with their phones so he went over to take a look before he exclaimed in shock, “When was this taken?”
Glancing at Su Tao with a smug expression, Yan Sha replied, “They were all taken by Little Wen. Isn’t it great?”
In the photo, Su Tao was standing beneath the waterfall with his hand before his eyes, looking at the top of the waterfall. Coincidentally, a glimpse of sunlight shone down from the cloud and radiated him.
“Little Wen, your photography skills aren’t bad.” Su Tao smiled and added, “But it’s also because I’m handsome to match with your skills.”
Little Wen immediately lowered her head upon hearing that and peeked at Su Tao before replying in a soft tone, “I was just taking it blindly.”

“Why are you shy?” Yan Sha said and continued, “I noticed that your face is always red when talking to my Senior Brother.”
As Little Wen’s face turned purple, she softly said, “That’s because you’re always making me feel awkward.”
“What’s there to feel awkward about?” Yan Sha chuckled before she retrieved the phone and handed it to Su Tao. “Take a look at them yourself. Little Wen secretly took many of your photos.”
As for Little Wen, she could only bashfully glare at Su Tao.
The heart of a young lady was always pure and beautiful.
Taking the phone, Su Tao casually swiped through the photos. Little Wen was truly talented when it comes to photography. Despite the fact that she was using her phone and the quality wasn’t that great, every single photo seemed to have a story in it.
His gaze ultimately fell onto a photo. It was a photo with him and Yan Sha in it. Yan Sha had removed her shoes and she was stepping on the cobblestone, while Su Tao was taking her shoes for her. Yan Sha had lifted her skirt and kicked the water, raising splashes that landed on Su Tao while Jiang Qinghan watched from afar with a smile.
Without them knowing, Little Wen had taken such a heartwarming photo.
“Send me these photos when we return. I have to store them well.” Su Tao smiled.
“No way!” Yan Sha pouted and haggled, “They’re the fruits of labor, and you have to pay for them.”
Feigning anger, Su Tao asked, “Doesn’t it hurt relationships to talk about money?”
“Well, you have lots of money, so how can I not extort a sum out of you?” An arc rose on Yan Sha’s lips.
“We’ll go with one cent for a photo!” Little Wen smiled.
Raising his thumb at Little Wen, Su Tao replied, “Little Wen is kind-hearted indeed, unlike someone.”
Puffing up in anger, Yan Sha glared at Little Wen. “She’s not innocent, but silly!”
“Birds of a feather flock together. If I’m silly, then you’re not smart, either.” Little Wen rebuked with a smile.
Looking at the girls fighting together, Su Tao smiled from the bottom of his heart.
Due to the fact that they weren’t familiar with the places here, Su Tao signed them up for a tour group. Although the epidemic had just passed, there were still quite a few people who signed up for the tour group. For the past two days, their trip had been smooth and they were brought to some shops that sold local specialties. Due to the fact that Su Tao bought quite a bit of stuff, the tour guide was rather polite to him.
Su Tao had his own view on the career as a tour guide. They definitely had motives for bringing people around, going through the rain and storm. By bringing tourists to those shops, they would be able to earn some commissions, and at the same time, promote the local economy. This act wasn’t heinous since it was also done in other countries, and some of them were even more ridiculous.

At an intersection on the mountain, the bus suddenly came to a stop. After the tour guide got out of the bus, two robust men came on and pointed at a couple to the right. “The two of you get off!”
“Why are we getting off?” The man nervously asked.
“If I’m telling you to get off, then get off! Why are you talking so much?” The man standing at the front was bald with a massive gold chain around his neck. Seeing that someone was trying to take a photo of them, he glared at them and roared, “If anyone here dares to take a photo, I’ll make you get lost from the bus as well!”
When he finished, he dragged the man by the collar off of the bus. The female companion was also forced to get off of the bus, yelling frantically in the process.
Retrieving a baton from his waist, the bald man roared, “This matter is not related to you guys. If anyone dares to interfere, I’ll get rid of them as well!”
Hence, everyone could only remain silent, albeit to their rage. Looking at the couple with a frightened gaze, Yan Sha said to Su Tao, “Senior Brother, the two of them look pitiful. Why don’t we help them?”
Knitting his brows together, Su Tao could sense that something was amiss in this matter, so he replied, “We’ll look at the situation, first.”
When the couple was chased off the bus, the tour guide returned and with anger in her tone, “Ladies and gentlemen, you guys don’t have to be too worried. It’s a personal conflict between them and me. When I was discussing with everyone about paying for another attraction earlier, my attitude wasn’t bad, was it? Furthermore, it was completely voluntary. However, this couple secretly took a video of me. I have a straightforward personality, and I like to handle things with simple and crude methods. Since they’re unsatisfied with my service, then I can only request them to leave. As for the money that they paid, it will be refunded to them after deducting the places that they’d visited. Do you guys think that’s fair?”l
The tour guide’s voice was loud and sharp, but no one dared to rebuke her words. After all, there were a few other local ruffians aside from those two men.
The couple’s luggage was dumped on the ground and the man was given a few slaps, while the woman was shoved to the side, sobbing.
Facing such rough treatment, the atmosphere on the bus suddenly froze and no one dared to rebuke the tour guide’s words.
Seeing that she had managed to control the situation, the tour guide chuckled, “Next, we will be heading for Jade City. It’s the largest collection of jades in the world. Not only do they come in good quality, but they’re also cheap! Furthermore, their worth is also increasing by 10% a year, guaranteed by the government!” When she finished, she sighed again, “As everyone knows, Yundian Province has just gone through a crisis, and the entire province’s economy has suffered a great blow. So I would like to request everyone to make your contributions. Then again, we won’t force anyone to spend, but we will just cancel our contracts with you guys.”
Listening to her words, a commotion started amongst the tourists. The tour guide had just put on a deliberate show of strength as a warning. Although everyone was discussing amongst themselves, no one dared to stand out to rebuke the tour guide.
“Isn’t she trying to force us to spend? This tour guide is too despicable!” Yan Sha vented out her emotions.
“Aren’t jades expensive?” Little Wen’s face changed.
Nodding her head, Yan Sha replied, “Yeah, a small pendant can cost a few thousand.”
Hearing those words, Little Wen glanced at her mother and bit on her lips. For an ordinary family like them, it’s too much for them to buy something so expensive.
“You guys don’t have to be too worried. In the worst scenario, we can just cancel our contracts with them. The world is huge, so do we have to be afraid that we can’t make it home?” Su Tao smiled.
“Is there anyone unwilling? You can get off right now if you are.” The tour guide swept a glance around before she smiled. “If no one is unwilling, then we can get going right now.”
After that, she whispered in the driver’s ear and the bus turned around and drove down the mountain. The other tourists were all dumbfounded by this act since the tour guide was about to dump them on the mountain.
Facing this situation, the tourists were helpless. They’re unfamiliar with the places here, so they could only suck it up when encountering such a tour guide. With the previous example, no one dared to take out their phones since they were afraid that they might be thrown out.
Ten-odd minutes later, the bus was parked at Jade City and the tour guide urged the lambs to get off the bus.
After the tour guide spoke a few words to the security booth, she led everyone into a shop that looked decently renovated. After ensuring that everyone had entered the shop, the door was quickly closed.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we will be making a stop here for two hours, so everyone can shop as much as you like. I hope that everyone will have a great harvest!” The tour guide announced.
After that, she went over to the reception corner and the sales assistant served her with a coffee. As she drank the coffee, she started playing with her phone.
