The leader was a bald man with a height of 6’2” and a robust structure. Blowing a whistle, everyone else got out of the vehicles and laughed, pushing each other while heading up the building.

But just when they were about to go up the stairs, a youth in black tight-fitted clothes walked down. He was blessed with handsome facial features, short hair, and a lightning-shaped scar by the corner of his eye. With stubbles beneath his lips, his lips formed a faint smile.

“Don’t block the way!” The leading bald stretched his hand to push the youth, but to his surprise, he failed.

As the youth raised his leg and lashed out, the bald man felt as if he was struck by a cannon. His face twisted from the pain with his eyeballs so protruded that they nearly fell out.

Taking advantage of the robust man grabbing his abdomen, the youth grabbed onto the former’s neck and threw out a jab on that bald head.

Once again, the robust man yelled out in pain. At the same time, those behind him also recovered from the shock and swiftly drew out their weapons. All of them wielded thirty-centimeter steel pipes that were curved at the tip.

However, all the youth did was push and sent the 6’2” man flying, who then smashed against those behind him like how a bowling ball hit the pins.

The bald man instantly knew that he’s not the opponent of this youth so he immediately nodded his head. “I understand. We won’t do it anymore!”

This bunch of bald men was sent over by Sergei to take revenge against Lisa. All of them initially thought that they’re just going to a commoner district to capture a fragile girl without any backing, but they never expected that the lady would be accompanied by such a monster.

“Get lost!”

The moment the youth spoke out, the thugs all felt pardoned and immediately fled.

After all of them disappeared, the Russian youth came to a remote corner and found a modified sports car before he made a call.

After hanging the call, Mr. Lin sat on the couch, looking at his daughter, Michelle, who was eating grapes as he asked in a concerned tone, “Vera is still unwilling to eat?”

Nodding her head, Michelle sourly replied, “Can’t help it. If someone stopped me from meeting with my lover, I would also try all sorts of means to take revenge.”

“You wouldn’t! You would only eat and turn yourself into a fatty to threaten me.” Mr. Lin smiled as he shook his head.

Growing a little irritated, Michelle snapped, “That Ormond is like stubborn dung. He wouldn’t listen to me no matter how much I tried.”

Shrugging his shoulders, Mr. Lin helplessly replied, “He’s truly a cold fellow. But isn’t that the reason why you married him back then?”

“That’s because I was ignorant!” Michelle locked her brows together in annoyance as she continued, “Now that I’ve grown older, I know that women should look for a caring man. At the very least, they shouldn’t live their lives facing a piece of steel every day.”

All along, Mr. Lin was helpless against his daughter. As for his granddaughter, he was also very concerned about her.

Taking a deep breath, Mr. Lin said, “I still have to observe that brat a little longer. After all, your marriage back then was simply a mess because of your temper which resulted in your current regret. With an example, I have to act with more caution now. If that brat is truly great, then I will look for Ormond to have a chat with him. I believe that he will give me some face.”
