Half an hour later, Gu Yang entered wearing a fashionable dress that looked like a virtuous woman paired with her appearance. Gu Yang and Shu Haonan have known each other for a decade, and Gu Yang appeared as Shu Haonan’s girlfriend not long after Jiang Qinghan got to know Gu Yang.

“Qinghan has many cases to handle every day, so does she have that time?” Shu Haonan smiled.

Gu Yang did not sit beside Shu Haoran, but sat beside Jiang Qinghan instead. Pointing at Shu Haonan, she grudgingly looked at the latter. “Didn’t you always boast about your authority? Why didn’t you use it to make Qinghan’s job easier?”

Waving her hand to the waiter, Jiang Qinghan said, “You can’t blame Haonan on this matter. He tried to transfer me to logistics several times, but I rejected his offer.”

“As the host for the Interpol conference, we are going to recommend elites to represent our country. For Qinghan to be qualified to attend this conference speaks for her capability, and she’s also on the list for purely relying on her own capability.” Shu Haonan smiled.

“Then, wouldn’t Qinghan be part of the Interpol in the future?” Gu Yang sighed.

“That’s still not confirmed, but Qinghan certainly has a high chance of entering because there aren’t many female officers that are qualified to make it on the list. So to prove the female talents in our country, Qinghan has a high chance.” Gu Yang smiled.

Shaking her head, Gu Yang held onto Jiang Qinghan’s wrist and frowned. “I feel that it’s best that she doesn’t join it. As an Interpol officer, she will come in contact with international criminal organisations in the future, and wouldn’t it be more dangerous for her?”

“If we’re without any dreams, how are we different from zombies? Being an Interpol officer has always been my dream, and it will hold significant meaning for me if I can make it through. But Interpol has a strict requirement on their officers’ foreign languages, and I’m not confident of passing.” Jiang Qinghan smiled.

Interpol was created in 1914, with the headquarters located in France. It had a total of 190 members, and this was the only international organisation that enabled cooperation between police. It was also the second-largest organisation between various countries aside from the United Nations.

With a complicated smile, Gu Yang responded, “This disciple of yours is truly formidable. He came to Beijing for a short time, and has already created such a huge commotion.” Thereafter, she started talking about what Su Tao did at the Ni Family’s banquet. But as she heard it from someone, the story was slightly exaggerated.

With a smile, Jiang Qinghan concealed the awkwardness. “Su Tao is already an adult, and I’m not in a position to ask about it.”

“Master, what conference are you here to participate in?” Su Tao immediately changed the topic.

Since it’s not classified as a secret, Jiang Qinghan revealed that she’s going to participate in the selection of Interpol officers. When Su Tao heard that, he frowned. He felt that Jiang Qinghan was really worrisome to head to where the dangers were.

How could she not know that Shu Haonan secretly admired Jiang Qinghan? Whenever he’s drunk, he would often mention Jiang Qinghan’s name without knowing it himself.

But in the end, she endured it all since she loved Shu Haonan, and Jiang Qinghan had also been maintaining her distance with him.

But they’re about to hold their wedding, and Shu Haonan actually hid it from her that Jiang Qinghan came to Beijing. That meant that he still hasn’t given up on her!

Looking at Su Tao, Jiang Qinghan asked, “What’s the happy occasion?”

“I have a good friend that’s coming to Beijing, and we can have a meal together!” Su Tao planned to get Ni Jingqiu to pay the bill, and she probably wouldn’t mind having another person. “Cai Yan will be coming later!”

“Wouldn’t I be the third wheel?” Jiang Qinghan smiled.

Shaking his head, Su Tao also smiled. “I’m not worried about that. You’re an elder, and we’re juniors. Even if our actions are a little intimate, I believe you will understand us! We will treat you as invisible!”
