Pei Qingfeng paid no attention to her and explained, “There’s nothing to worry about. I naturally made some arrangements back in the capital before coming. Moreover, if something happens to me, you won’t be held responsible for it, so just relax.”

Pei Qingfeng explained as he mistakenly thought that Bai Luochu was worried about His Majesty blaming her.

Bai Luochu hated this about Pei Qingfeng the most. As a prince, she couldn’t understand how he could act like a spoiled child.
