Chapter 1992 - Crossing the Darkness
There were people fighting, going against the darkness. They moved along the great river of time, heading up from that distant future path, slaughtering in this direction.
That speed was just too fast!
However, they were all extremely hazy, all of them wrapped around by time, their true appearances couldn’t be seen. Only their rough outlines could be made out. However, even so, everyone was still stunned.
How could the gray-clothed expert not be shocked. Did those individuals discover them? Was that why they came?
His mind sunk. While fighting a great battle with Huang, did he end up provoking these creatures from the lower reaches, discovered by them, and that was why they were reacting powerfully? Did this mean that they already made contact with that area of time, changing something?
This made him suck in a cold breath of air. Even as a half immortal emperor, a wave of coldness still surged from his back. If this was the case, then the karma he would shoulder really would be a bit too great.
Perhaps he might even become nothing after endless ages!
After becoming unmatched throughout the ages, the heavens weren’t able to bury him, the earth unable to destroy him, time unable to kill him, but he wasn’t willing to randomly trample on all of the world’s laws. There were some taboo areas he still couldn’t step foot into.
Otherwise, the karma he would be involved in would bring his life to an end!

I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

Leo wakes up once again, but this time it's in his own room back at the village which was the first place he entered in this new world. He notices a black and white rectangle on his right arm. Leo’s mind becomes muddled by mysteries. How did he reach this new world? How did Cao arrive here? How is Cao much stronger than he is? How did he escape from Cao? What was that symbol he barely saw before he got teleported? What were those two rectangles on his right arm? Filled with mysteries Leo sets out to find answers, however, an unexpected encounter leads him to meet a girl named, Mia. A charming, strong and determined girl through her Leo gets to know about The Shadow Claw Organization. A group of people who helps others in need, however on the inside, they are killers and spies who will do anything as long as they get money. The helping mentality is a cover-up for the real truth. Leo soon finds out they are not as simple as he thought they were. ----Chapter release rate: 5-7/week
