《Otherworldly Merchant》Chapter 500: Ma’am, Please Behave Yourself

I pulled myself together, remembering the location of the villa. Then, I intently looked at it. Soon, a woman in a nightgown came out of her house. With a frightened face, she rushed to see the security guards.
She was probably Zhou Tian’s wife. I left the Internet shop, walking out.
I arrived in front of her before she could knock on the security booth. “Zhou Tian is your husband, right?”
Bewildered, she asked as if I were her sole life-saving straw, “Are you the master Zhou Tian told me about?”
“Tell me, what happened?”
I didn’t stop after confirming the woman’s identity. I pulled her into the neighborhood, asking her for more information as we moved forward.
The woman shivered. “I was sleeping when I heard someone crying. It was very close, just as if it was next to me. Then, I found that it was Zhou Tian who was weeping. He seemed to have become someone else. It was so strange.”
When we were near their house, I heard someone crying inside.
I lowered my voice and said, “Go straight to the point!”
The woman nodded. “I think Zhou Tian is being pestered by a foul thing. He told me to find you and ask for your help before he lost his sanity.”
“I see. Don’t worry.”
I drew the Sirius Whip and hid it behind my back, asking her to open the door.
At first glance, I saw Zhou Tian rolling and weeping in the living room. His eyes were gone, and his empty sockets were bleeding nonstop.
His wife saw the scene and screamed. She fell on her butt while shivering uncontrollably.
When Zhou Tian heard her scream, he sat up and scolded her. “You damned bitch! I’m going to kill you!”
He then covered his eyes and kept rolling on the ground. He simply ignored me.
The woman covered her mouth, tears brimming her eyes. I gestured at the door as a way to tell her to go out first. I slowly moved forward after she had left the room. Zhou Tian ignored me the whole time.

“Who the hell are you? Why are you haunting him?” I grabbed the Sirius Whip, my eyes cold. I wanted to threaten the spirit that was attached to Zhou Tian.
The spirit wasn’t afraid. It controlled Zhou Tian’s body and crawled closer to me. He licked the blood streaming from his eyes, sneering and mocking. “You’re not a worthy opponent…”
“Well, let’s fight to find out!”
If it didn’t want to talk, I could only use force. I screamed and lashed with my Sirius Whip.
The whip hit Zhou Tian’s neck. He screeched and stumbled two meters away. He then crouched on the ground and stopped moving altogether.
Right after, sharp pain was transmitted from my back. I turned and saw some red mist trying to drill into my body.
The pain came from the contact with that red mist. I immediately took out a handful of refined salt and threw it over. The mist sizzled and dispersed, but I felt a twinge in my back again.
The red mist seemed to be playing with me. No matter in which direction I turned, it would appear behind me. My movements slowed down, and my body became cold.
I couldn’t help but sneeze. I realized that the red mist was consuming my Yang energy. If this continued, things would be over for me.
The red mist changed tactics while I was trying to resist it, spreading all around me.
Wisps of red mist twined together, creating a net that shrouded me.
When we were in the grannie’s single-story house, the otherworldly item had done this to deal with the red sandalwood altar.
The sandalwood altar had been unable to deal with that attack so it shook hard.
I quickly operated my brain and saw a ball cactus by the window sill before my view was completely blocked.
Plants like this ball cactus could absorb dust and purify the air. They were full of Yang energy that could be used to expel Yin energy. I hurried to roll toward the ball cactus. Then, I picked up the pot and smashed it on the floor with all of my strength. The ball cactus was broken into small pieces.

I hurried to pick a piece of the cactus without thorns and directly stuffed it in my mouth. The slightly bitter taste filled my oral cavity, and my body started to warm up.
I felt much lighter as the heat was expanding to cover my entire body. Most of the pain caused by the red mist was gone.
I felt more confident now. Every time the heat was about to disperse, I would pick another piece of cactus, swallowing it. Slowly, the red mist started to weaken.
All of a sudden, the mist turned into a wisp that slowly moved toward the door. From the looks of it, it was exhausted and wanted to flee. How could I let this chance go? I held the Sirius Whip and lashed hard.
After every whip, the red mist would cry and weep. But the whip’s power was soon drained, and the red mist took the chance to run away.
I hurried to check Zhou Tian. His eyes had returned to normal, but his face was twisted in pain. Apparently, he had been badly affected.
If this continued, although he wouldn’t die, his longevity would be shortened. I called his wife and asked her to cook him a bowl of hot ginger soup. Then, I sat in their living room to regain my composure.
If that spirit called Zhou Tian’s wife ‘bitch,’ I guessed he had been betrayed by his own wife. And, Zhou Tian’s wife may have had an affair in the past.
It was an important clue. However, considering the harmony of Zhou Tian’s family, I wouldn’t make use of it for the time being.
Soon, the woman cooked a bowl of ginger soup and started feeding Zhou Tian.
“Master, thank you so much. Did you finish dealing with that foul thing?”
I almost spurted out the water I had just drunk.
I reluctantly explained to her, “That thing isn’t easy to deal with. I was lucky that I could drive it away. It’ll take some time to destroy it for good.”
The woman was stunned at first. She then looked at her husband, who was lying like a dead pig on the bed, and asked me, “Master, do you think I’m beautiful?”
“Eh?” I didn’t understand what she meant.
She bit her lower lip then suddenly got up, pulling the knot of her nightgown open, which revealed her snow-white skin. She then jumped on me, trying to kiss my lips.
Everything happened too fast. When I got a hold of myself, the only thing I could hear was our breathing.
I hadn’t touched a woman for quite a long time, so I was a little slow to react.
The woman was emboldened since I didn’t reject her. She couldn’t help fiddling with my buckle. She was so excited that her hands were trembling.
Zhou Tian suddenly rolled on his bed. I pulled myself together and pushed the woman aside, starting to read the sacred text of Daoism. I finally snapped out of it.
She didn’t know what I was doing, so she tried to get on me another time. She moaned crazily, “Give it to me, will you?”
“Ma’am, please behave yourself!”
This time, I got rid of her and rushed to the door. I looked at her coldly. “I came here to help you deal with the otherworldly item. I’ll leave immediately if you keep doing that.”
Zhou Tian’s wife looked bewildered. Then, she heaved a deep sigh, tears brimming in her eyes. “Do you think I’m an easy woman?”
I looked at her, keeping silent.
The woman was suddenly stirred up. She pointed at Zhou Tian and yelled, “We’ve been married for years, and he has never satisfied me, not even once! I have to take the initiative every time, and he can barely get it up. I’m a woman, and I want to feel like one!”
I felt embarrassed. This man looks burly and muscular. How could he be so useless?
Anyway, I wasn’t interested in knowing about their intimate life. I comforted her and later went to the guest room to rest.
