He was trying to open a path out of a trap but what?

That’s what the Crow was telling him.
'This little punk…I thought that the connection had been weakened.’
Maybe it was doing everything it could to deliver this message to him.
The Majesty’s Key reacted at that moment.
Flash!
A bright golden light flashed in front of him.
“Ugh.”
The glowing golden ring then released its strong aura. It seemed strong and holy unlike the general dirty and chaotic aura of artifacts. That Majesty's Aura spread out, as if it was conquering this trap area.
The tomb started to shake like crazy.
“Aaah!”
The cliff started to crack and some of the team members screamed.
Crack!
Some of the ones who had been dangling on the cliff by their weapons fell to the ground.
“Ahhh!”
The ones who fell were Ju-Heon, Julian, and Jaeha!
Seol-A and Ilya, who were using a ghost and a devil respectively that could allow one person to float, were shocked.
“Captain-nim!”
The two of them tried to grab the falling team members. But the rope was faster than them.

The rope that had been on Ju-Heon’s shoulder first wrapped around Ju-Heon, then Julian, and then Jaeha.

The Lies They Told Me: Short stories from my life
Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. The Doa Shrykes, feral monsters with a voracious taste for blood, await them inside the rift as well. This is a WIP, and subject to change, reorder, and future edits. Watch our protagonist's journey through the tower as he struggles to endure the curse he bears, one which damns him to ever-repeat his climb to the top of the tower, until he succeeds. *** This is a rewrite of a story I started writing about 3 months ago which was written in the third person, and this rewrite shifts the story perspective to the first person. There will be occasional user polls to decide how the story progresses, interspersed throughout the story, and the polls that were done in the original version will still apply to the current version.
