Perpetual Demonic Emperor's clone had been killed by the Yin-yang Origin beasts, and he too was badly injured.

Luckily, he was already in front of Wu Yu. He threw the bronze pendant out.

Wu Yu caught it in mid-air, and then had Perpetual World Tree change into his human form. He kept him in the Floating Dreams Pagoda to recuperate, saving his life.

Wu Yu stowed the bronze pendant, and used Lawful Embodiment of Heaven and Earth. He shrank to a tiny size, and began to flee within the hall.

Yin-yang Origin beasts very quickly finished off Perpetual Demonic Emperor's clone, and came after Wu Yu.

But thanks to the combination of his small size and the Somersault Cloud, the Yin-yang Origin beasts could not keep track of him. It hunted him in a grim game of cat and mouse.

Whether the Great Yang Origin beast or Great Yin Origin beast, they were both corpse puppets made from eternal demon emperors, and not something that Wu Yu could fight head-on. Besides, now that they had joined into the Yin-yang Origin beasts, if there was no bait to split them apart, their combined power was more than tenfold that of their individual strengths.

Wu Yu and the others could still barely manage to defend against a singular attack.

But when the two joined forces, they could not defend at all. They would be blown away into dust, just like how Dignified Lava Beast and Olden Golden Mountain had only managed one pitiful cry before they vanished.

However, they were shut tight. Wu Yu could not possibly get out of this middle hall under such circumstances. If he paused for but a moment before the gates, the Yin-yang Origin beasts would get him with a fury of ice and fire.

While he continued running, Wu Yu wondered: how about getting Full Moon of Nanshan to try?

But he very quickly dismissed that idea. Full Moon of Nanshan's Gone from the Skies might be strong, but it was only effective against those below an eternal immortal emperor.

And the Yin-yang Origin beasts were two eternal demon emperors!

Such a beast would definitely be able to see through Full Moon of Nanshan's Gone from the Skies.

Therefore, Wu Yu would be sending Full Moon of Nanshan to his death.

At this moment, Ming Long's voice came out of the blue: "Wu Yu, did you notice that when Perpetual Demonic Emperor pulled out the bronze pendant, the Yin-yang Origin beasts seemed to freeze for an instant?"

Wu Yu vaguely recalled it. However, he had been completely focused on Perpetual Demonic Emperor at that moment, and had not paid attention to it.

Wu Yu was even wondering - could the bronze pendants be the pass through this Graveguarding Palace?

This meant that he could have simply commanded the Violet-Eyed Emperor's corpse puppet back in the front hall.....

No point speculating on the past now. However, the outcome had not been bad. At least the Yin-yang Origin beasts had gotten rid of Dignified Lava Beast and Olden Golden Mountain for him. They were quite strong opponents, and could have posed a threat to him further down the road.

It had also gotten Wu Yu a subordinate in the form of Perpetual World Tree. Wu Yu would not tell him about what had happened. He would leave him to stew for a bit.

If he told him the truth, Perpetual World Tree would definitely not work together with Wu Yu. He might even turn on him.

As Yin-yang Origin beasts vanished from the central hall, Wu Yu could continue as before. He moved carefully aside Death Valley Flame, using incandescent heavenly rule to shield his body from Death Valley Flame's pure-fire attacks.

As long as one had the bronze pendant and was at the Great Void Immortal Realm ninth tier, one could pass the central hall.

Otherwise, you would have to kill the two eternal demon emperor corpse puppets. Perhaps only an eternal demon emperor would be able to do so.

With incandescent heavenly rule shielding him, Wu Yu inched cautiously forwards, wary of any other surprises.

These were all the true forms of the eternal demon emperors.

Wu Yu could see that there was also a phoenix, wreathed in flames. However, the flames were completely black, indicating its netherworldly origins. It was the Dark Phoenix Grand Emperor!

Wu Yu recalled the Spectral Fire Phoenix, one of Diabolical Dragon King's subordinates. He had devoured her, and this Dark Phoenix Grand Emperor was the Spectral Fire Phoenix's ancestor.

If not for the war at Demon Immortal Realm, Spectral Fire Phoenix would definitely have been a subordinate of this Dark Phoenix Grand Emperor, and not following Diabolical Dragon King. She might already have reached the eternal demon emperor under the Grand Emperor's guidance.

Each carving was an eternal demon emperor, shown in various poses. There were no repeats. The thousands of eternal demon emperors might all be buried here int he Eternal Emperor Tomb.

It was a great mystery, and Wu Yu could not help but wonder - who had bulit the Eternal Emperor Tomb, and who had started that annihilating war?

"The answers must lie ahead!" Wu Yu thought. He lifted his eyes to look at the bronze gates. There was a little indent, perfectly carved in the shape of the bronze pendants.

It was like the entrance to the Eternal Emperor Tomb back in the Demon Immortal Realm. However, Wu Yu was a little wary, because one of the pieces he held was sealed by the five demonic emperors.

Now there was only Perpetual Demonic Emperor left, and their seal could not be removed. He did not know if it would work.

Wu Yu had no other choice, and also no need to consult Perpetual Demonic Emperor. After all, what could one demonic emperor do?
