《Emperor’s Domination》Chapter 3916: True King

Li Qiye’s direct challenge against the creatures or rather, Black Tides, caught everyone off guard.
“He wants to challenge Black Tides?” One ancestor from Righteous Sect murmured.
“I think so, but in history, only the dao lords dare to do this.” An old man from the east replied.
For millions of years, numerous cultivators have been buried in this ocean. They were all gifted and prideful geniuses who eventually reached the top of the ladder. Alas, few managed to come back alive.
The real challengers were the dao lords. For example, Puresun Dao Lord, Sword Queen, and a few others… Later on, with an established path, only top dao lords such as Buddha did the same. As for a new dao lord such as Scarlet Moon? They stood no chance against this ocean.
Thus, Li Qiye’s challenge was an earth-shattering event.
“In our era, only someone like the Sacred Lord can challenge Black Tides.” Many from the holy ground took pride in this.
“He’s the son of miracles indeed. Once he starts, he’ll eradicate them all.” Another nodded in agreement.
Though most praised their new Sacred Lord, the ancestors remained worried. They were aware of how monumental a task it was to challenge this region - potentially fatal for even dao lords.
Li Qiye certainly was capable but this was still a reckless ass. However, they kept their mouth shut because of Li Qiye’s status.
“Gaao!” The big-headed creature roared. The other monsters did the same.
Their roars echoed across the region, similar to a million thunderbolts hitting at once. The sound waves spread out and uprooted countless trees.
The big-headed creature turned around and made some strange sounds. The other started calling as well.
The next development surprised everyone. The skull of the leader rolled off its body. The latter crumbled into pieces as well.

“Crack! Crack! Crack!” Bones started falling and clicking everywhere. All the skulls fell off the body of the skeletons. Their main frame shattered as a result. Thus, all of Black Wood and a large area of Black Tides became filled with pieces of bones.
“What are they doing?” The spectators became lost after seeing this bizarre scene.
Li Qiye hasn’t done a thing yet his foes crumbled already? A passerby unaware of the situation would think that this was a mass suicide. Of course, this couldn’t be the case.
“Did they go crazy from being too angry?” One ancestor asked.
They didn’t have time to think because the large skull started floating in the air. The other skulls subsequently followed.
Thousands and thousands of skulls floated in the air and blotted out the sky. The spectators in the camp found this as creepy as can be.
“How bizarre.” A youth commented.
They then saw the largest skull opened its jaws and started sucking. The dark red lights hidden in the other skulls were absorbed by this force.
After losing their light, these skulls fell to the ground as if they had been drained of their life force.
The light inside the largest skull became far brighter than before after the full accumulation. Flames started oozing out of the eye sockets and mouth just like a volcanic eruption. Its power intensified; pulses shot in every direction and turned all geographic features into plains.
“Crack! Crack! Crack!” The mountains of bones began assembling together, not random bones but only the finest and toughest of each previous monster.
“The hardest bone in each monster is known as a resolute bone.” The paragon of the Biandu took a deep breath and said: “They’re extremely hard to destroy.”
Millions of resolute bones came together to form a massive body. The floating skull then landed on this new frame.

A new creature appeared before them, far taller than the ancestral peak. It didn’t have legs, only a blade-like tail to support its body. It had two hands but the fingers were thin and sharp, capable of harvesting ten million lives with one swing.
It looked somewhat like a human-scorpion hybrid - an entirely new species. The resolute bones were as white as snow, looking like stones that have been polished.
Most importantly, unlike the chaotic arrangements of the other monsters, these bones fit together perfectly. It was as if the whole thing used to be a single mountain, eventually carved into this shape by a master artisan.
The power oozing from it horrified the ancestors and the high elders. Regular cultivators had a hard time breathing; some became paralyzed on the ground.

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.

The Last Death Mage
Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. (For example, in the prologue that gave a hint at what happened to the MC, will be enhanced so that the gore invokes more descriptive/complete mental pictures, though it may wait.) ~Tyroth Gideon
