《Dragon Prince Yuan》Chapter 775 A Fierce Fight (Teaser)

Roar!
In the sky, there seemed to be a demonic ape roaring. The next moment, Mo Yuan strode across the air in Zhou Yuan’s direction, his body protected by a tremendous ancient giant ape shadow. The black iron cudgel in his hand fused with the cudgel shadow and directly shot towards Zhou Yuan with devastating power.
In Xuanzhou City, many experts of the Divine Dwelling stage revealed bitter looks when they felt their Genesis Qi foundation. Compared with an advanced Divine Dwelling expert like Mo Yuan, they were simply unsightly.
Rumble!
As the cudgel shadow neared, the Genesis Qi within Zhou Yuan’s body dramatically surged. Eight million Genesis Qi stars were shining in the air, stunning and mysterious.
He tightened his grip around the Heavenly Yuan Brush. As the tip of the brush trembled, majestic Genesis Qi of azure and gold gathered at the tip before transforming into a tremendous brush shadow that collided head on with the cudgel shadow pressing down.
Rumble!
A storm of Genesis Qi erupted, distorting the air.
The moment the brush and cudgel collided, Zhou Yuan’s body quivered slightly and eventually reeled back from the impact. Every step he took caused the air to make a shrill noise.
“If you only have a good Genesis Qi foundation, you are most likely going to die today!”
Mo Yuan sneered. Zhou Yuan’s Genesis Qi foundation was indeed superior to his, but he was from the Heavenly Spirit Sect and had mastered all the top Genesis techniques. Therefore, even if his Genesis Qi foundation was slightly weaker, with the help of the power of Genesis techniques, he could still significantly multiply his strength.
Boom!
When his voice faded, the mighty cudgel shadow relentlessly pursued Zhou Yuan, enveloping him with terrifying pressure.
He evidently intended to take advantage of the opportunity to completely defeat Zhou Yuan.
Watching the tremendous cudgel shadow obscuring the sky whiz down, Zhou Yuan narrowed his eyes and sneered, “Do you think you’re the only one to have high-grade Heaven-tier Genesis techniques?”
“Omega Saint Spirit Art!”
Zhou Yuan rapidly folded his hands into a hand seal. The next moment, a gush of majestic Genesis Qi quickly condensed into a mysterious shadow. The shadow spread out its huge wings of light, swallowing the Genesis Qi of the universe.

The Genesis Qi that erupted from Zhou Yuan’s body also surged as a result.
Clang!
With the stamp of his feet, his figure shot into the sky, and the Heavenly Yuan Brush in his hand transformed into countless arcs of Genesis Qi to meet the cudgel shadows head on.
Boom!
Continuous loud noises rang across the sky. Countless people were stunned to see that every time a brush shadow swept past, the cudgel shadows that filled the sky were cleared away.
Zhou Yuan’s figure also stood motionless in the air and no longer wavered.
When Mo Yuan saw that Zhou Yuan was steadying his attack, his pupils shrank. He peered at the mysterious shadow with light wings. The Genesis Qi emitted from it was in no way weaker than that of the giant ape shadow.
Evidently, what Zhou Yuan used was also a high-grade Heaven-tier Genesis technique!
“What is that boy’s background?”
This question ran through Mo Yuan’s mind, but he immediately snorted coldly, eyes blazing with battle intent. The next moment, he darted out and once again launched an attack.
He didn’t believe he couldn’t deal with a Divine Dwelling stage expert!
Zhou Yuan also refused to give up. The two shadows repeatedly collided like lightning above, and every time they crossed each other, it would cause a violent shock wave of Genesis Qi.
In a short period of time, the two had already fought hundreds of rounds.
Neither of them held back. Every attack was incredibly aggressive, making the numerous spectators tremble with fear.
Everyone of the Yi clan was unblinkingly watching the battle high in the sky. Their expressions seemed extremely tense and nervous. Zhou Yuan was the Yi clan’s last hope.
Yi Qianji and Liu Tianying also had solemn looks on their faces. A moment later, Yi Qianji could help but remark, “Zhou Yuan isn’t ordinary. His strength is actually comparable to Mo Yuan’s.”
They naturally could tell that Mo Yuan had already displayed his full strength, but he still didn’t hold the upper hand against Zhou Yuan.
It was a wonderful battle between the serpent and the ape.
“Father, can he win?” Liu Ming asked nervously.

Liu Tianying muttered, “It’s not certain yet. Mo Yuan is also an extraordinary person, so it won’t be easy to beat him.”
Zhou Yuan’s performance was already beyond their expectations, but Mo Yuan’s reputation in Tianyuan Regions wasn’t weak. So even Liu Tianying, an expert of the Heavenly Sun stage, couldn’t guarantee whether or not Zhou Yuan could really win.
“I have heard that Mo Yuan has refined the essence blood of the ‘Sky Demonic Ape’, a grade-seven Genesis beast. That essence blood has already integrated with his own, and once he fights, his power will soar. His Genesis Qi will rise steadily, and he will be as fierce as a demonic ape,” Yi Qianji said. “It’s his greatest trump card.”
“The blood essence of the Sky Demonic Ape?” Liu Ming exclaimed. A grade-seven Genesis beast had the strength of the Nascent Source stage!
She looked up at the sky, a worried frown crossing her face.
After all, once Zhou Yuan lost, the Yi clan would have to hand over the position of Prefecture Lord of Xiaoxuan Prefecture.
On the Qiu clan’s side, everybody was similarly staring intently at the sky. Even the head of the clan, Qiu Long, had a dark expression on his face. Evidently, he didn’t expect Zhou Yuan to push Mo Yuan to this state.
“Well, you can leap about, but you have underestimated Mo Yuan.” Qiu Long sneered.
Boom!
The fierce battle occurring at high altitude continued and gradually intensified.
However, as the battle became deadlocked, Zhou Yuan found that Mo Yuan’s attacks were becoming increasingly heavy and violent. He squinted his eyes and looked over in his direction. He vaguely saw that Mo Yuan’s eyes were gradually turning red.
An indescribable ferocity surged around him.
“Roar!”
The next moment, an ape-like howl burst out from Mo Yuan’s mouth. His eyes had become completely scarlet, and even the Genesis Qi around him was pulsing violently, causing the air to quake.
“Die!” Mo Yuan let out a sharp scream. The black cudgel flashed out of his hand, turning into a black torrent that directly shattered the surrounding space, aiming for Zhou Yuan with lightning speed.
Zhou Yuan shook his arm, and the hair of the Heavenly Yuan brush shot out. It formed layer after layer, as though forming a huge net.
Boom!
The torrent formed from the black iron cudgel repeatedly bombarded the giant net, crushing it into a terrifying arc, and eventually pierced through to strike Zhou Yuan’s body.
Clang!
Zhou Yuan was blasted away with a loud clang.
Gasps of astonishment rose all over Xuanzhou City.
“Zhou Yuan!” Yi Qiushui also couldn’t help but cry out.
Roar!
Mo Yuan’s eyes were scarlet red. His body moved slightly, and he appeared directly behind Zhou Yuan, a smile twisting his lips. With the clench of his hand, the black iron cudgel flashed right back into his hand.
Boom!
He swung the black iron cudgel down at Zhou Yuan’s body. If the cudgel struck, even a mountain would be flattened.
However, just as the cudgel was only inches away, a speck of light emerged from Zhou Yuan’s palm.
The speck of light expanded in the wind, rapidly growing to the size of a fist. A sword cry echoed across the world.
“Devil Sweeping Sword Orb!”
Zhou Yuan shook his hand, sending the sword pill out. An earthshaking sword cry suddenly erupted from the sword pill. A sharp sword aura gushed out, wrapping around the pill until it transformed into a giant sword of light.
His eyes were piercing and cold as he swung the sword and ignored Mo Yuan’s ferocious cudgel.
“Die!”
“Let’s see if you dare to clash directly with me!”
Mo Yuan didn’t hold back and directly struck at Zhou Yuan.
The cudgel shadow rapidly enlarged before Zhou Yuan. But Zhou Yuan was expressionless; the sword light transformed from the sword pill did not pause in the slightest.
The attacks of both sides were incomparably ruthless, and neither showed the intent of retreating.
Amidst countless horrified voices, when the black cudgel shadow struck Zhou Yuan, the majestic sword formed from sword qi slashed out from an extremely tricky angle and pierced Mo Yuan’s chest.
At this moment, both sides were fighting desperately with their lives.

A Standard Model of Magic
The world ended, and magic came back. The part our parents didn't expect, was for Science to break on reentry. Twenty years after the apocalypse, with our nations dismantled and hidden continents unearthed, a new generation has grown up in the wreckage of 21st century civilization. For us, the fantastic is at our doorstep and we have had no choice but to fight back. Meanwhile, the laws of nature bend and break at the whims of immortal gods, all of which are now dead and none of which are content to stay that way. But we cannot afford to give up. We are the stewards of a rewritten century, in which a little luck and a whole lot of magic might make anything possible – maybe even a world better than the one we lost. A Standard Model of Magic is a complete overhaul of my old story A Storm in the Fall. I'm afraid I was unhappy with the LitRPG elements, which I don't mind reading, but I apparently loath writing. Sorry. Once I'd made the choice to decouple the story from the OF that inspired it and reconfigure the magic system to my satisfaction, little of the original plotline survived. I will be salvaging most of my original characters, and I will keep some elements which are endemic to the genre, but that is all. I don't have an update schedule which I can commit to yet, but I will try to maintain a weekly pace.(This is currently RoyalRoad exclusive, since I'm lazy. If you find it posted elsewhere, it wasn't me and it wasn't with permission) If you're interested, I've set up a discord.

Vanisher
Joshua Hall is an intelligent and promising college sophomore. But when he accidentally witnesses Sara Wilder, a new and quirky acquaintance, receive an eldritch mark of possibility from her mother, everything changes. Josh can now see marks, eldritch symbols of power brought from another plane of existence that empower the weak and the futureless, that are invisible to most. But that's not the only thing that he's seeing, as strange dreams haunt Josh's sleep and threaten to destroy his sanity. With his mind and body struggling to handle the impossible things he can now perceive, Josh has to decide: accept a mark himself, or attempt to forget everything. This is a bit of an experimental project for me, as it isn't my norm in genre or topic. Expect: -Slow build storytelling -Character details -Foreshadowing -Dialogue driven narrative -Dynamic action scenes -Some mild graphic descriptions of injury -Sexuality is a factor -No explicit content (at least not directly) -Mild body horror -Light cosmic horror Reviews and critique are highly encouraged. I am a civil and fair responder, don't be afraid to initiate a conversation. If you see this story posted anywhere outside of RoyalRoad or Inkitt, please let me know as those are the only sites I currently host on. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

No Strings Attached [Rewritten]
Warning Just so you know, you better be paying attention to the chapter title or else it's going to be like travelling across multiverses. Explanation Due to a single comment made by a wonderful person, or some douchebag in real life, I have decided to create two seperate stories. A rewritten version, and the original version. The rewritten version will somewhat follow the original storyline of the original version, but will have extra content, extra side stories of course rewritten personalities. The original one will be like a rough draft of where I want the story to go. Like for instance, the original story is like the first Link from 'Legend of Zelda', choppy but fun to read. The rewritten story is the Link from any game during and after Windwaker, smooth and somewhat follows the main premise. Overall both are going to be probably terribly done but hey, I'm creating a furture and past story so what should you expect. - Styx Whatever just put up the revised description. - Ariel Edited Summary Jay W. Blu, a dashing and charming rich boy who's been spoiled his whole life. He is very cocky, has a case of egomania and isn't exactly what you call a 'Relatable Main character', unless you somehow fit one of these descriptions and then relate all you want. He had everything you would probably want if you weren't pessimistic, realistic, or chronically depressed. But as most reincarnation/summoning stories go, he get's himself killed at whatever age he was and is sent to another world. Normally, he would be summoned as something you would call a hero, but since that's to cliche by my standards he is something else. Instead of being the hero of the people that he was told about by a friend, he instead summoned as the anti-hero aka, 'The Hero of Demons'. Now he must traverse the lands slaying opposing heroes as he tries to keep his mind straight, although it's to late. There will be weird people along the journey like a fangirling war general, a hive mind and a manly magical girl? Oh well, Jay is too pure to see love anyways.
