For a whole night, I wielded my Ancient Divine Armament, the Purple Ying Sword and the Ancient Divine Dragon and swept nearly the entire Final Duel Valley. At this point, most Purple Grape City’s players didn’t even dare to enter the map anymore. I could tell because I literally flew around the map in search of hundred-man parties or bigger, to no avail. While there were smaller groups of players still roaming the place in hopes of roleplaying a dragon slayer, I was sorry to say that their chance had passed.

I checked my level. After a whole night of hard work, I was Level 209, but 97% away from hitting Level 210. I supposed that my dreams of hitting Level 210 before the appointed time were too much to ask for.

After I logged out of the game, I received a message from Chaos Moon. "OMG, I cannot believe you spent the whole night fighting in Final Duel Valley. Has bloodlust gotten to you or something? Anyway, you should log out of the game and go to bed soon."

I smiled at that. I ate the bread on the table and downed a glass of water. Then I slipped into my bed. It was time to sleep the entire morning away!

I didn’t know how I appeared beside a hot street where green leaves swayed in the distance. All I knew was that I and a dozen or so people were waiting for a public transport to pass by. Suddenly, a Lamborghini slowed to a stop at the bus stop. The driver rolled down the car window slowly to reveal her flawless countenance.

She stepped out of her car, walked up to me on her high heels and smiled at me. "So this is how you look, Lu Chen! Come on, I’ll treat you to lunch today~~"

He Yi grabbed my hand as I instinctively followed her. The moment we entered the car though, the world suddenly turned dark, and thunder roared against my ears. Through the occasional lightning flashes, I saw He Yi leaning limply in her seat, and her forehead covered in blood.

She cried. Tears streaked down her cheeks as she groped blindly for my hands with her eyes closed.

"Lu Chen… Lu Chen…" she cried out softly as her long eyelashes shivered.

I immediately caught her hand and said, "Boss, you…"

He Yi said sobbingly, "I’m the one who put a curse in your heart, so why am I still the one who’s hurt every time it rains? Lu Chen, I’m so, so tired of doing it all alone. Why can’t you share some of my burden?"

I hugged her tightly as a million emotions coursed through my heart.

He Yi abruptly pushed me away and turned into Sun Qingqing. The girl pointed at me and cursed me as she cried, "Bastard! You’re never around when Yiyi cries!"

"Qingqing…"

Sun Qingqing kept crying.

Suddenly, a pair of arms hugged me from behind, and the scent of Lin Yixin’s hair brushed against my nostrils. I turned around and saw her slowly dropping to her knees and curling into a ball in a corner of darkness. She looked like a helpless kitten. After she looked up at me with tear-stained cheeks but determined eyes, she murmured, "I will always love you no matter what happens, and I will make you happy with my own two hands! I don’t trust anyone else to give you happiness! I will never give up on you until the day I die, Little Cheat!"

I ran toward her with all my might, but like a mirage I couldn’t get close to her no matter how I tried. Still watching me with blurry, tearful eyes, she sobbed, "I love you, you bastard. I can give up everything if I can be together with you…"

Suddenly, I came to a sudden stop. Bloody arms had burst out of the earth all of a sudden and grabbed my legs tightly.

"Fuck off!"

I couldn’t break free despite kicking away with all my might. The lower half of my body was quickly dragged into the earth, but I was too heartbroken by Lin Yixin’s sorrowful expression to care for my own predicament.

"No! Lu Chen! Give me back my Lu Chen…"

Lin Yixin cried loudly as she faced toward the sky. Lightning kept flashing as huge drops of rainwater splashed against her cheeks.

Tears sliding down my own cheeks, I climbed upward with all might to no avail. All I could do was shout in the general direction of Lin Yixin, "I love you, Lin Yixin! I love you! I’ve always loved you!"

Lin Yixin cried back, "I know, I’ve always known, Little Cheat. I love you too, I love you too…"

"AH!!"

I abruptly sat up and wiped the cold sweat on my face. It was just a dream. But why did I have such a weird dream? Was it just a pressure-induced nightmare, or was it something else? What did the bloody arms mean? Did it represent Tang Long or a third, unknown force hidden within the foreign lands? How many more enemies would I have to face in the foreign lands now that I had lost the protection of the three main cities?

I checked my phone and noted that it was past 11 am. Five hours of sleep was better than nothing, I supposed. I had important business later anyway!

I called Chaos Moon, and we both went downstairs to enjoy the hotel’s buffet. It was both fast and convenient.

"Why are your eyes bloodshot, Lu Chen? You didn’t sleep well?" Chaos Moon asked me while holding her fork and knife.

I nodded. "Yeah."

She giggled. "I know! You were missing guild leader Eve and Lin Yixin, so you spent the whole morning masturbating instead of sleeping! Am I right?"

I stared at her. "How on earth did you get from this to that? And will it kill you to be a bit more conservative with this subject? Anyway, you’re overthinking things. Eve, Yiyi, and I don’t share that kind of relationship…"

Chaos Moon snorted through her drink. "OMG, don’t tell me you’re still a virgin."

I blushed. "Seriously, can you not?"

Chaos Moon rolled her eyes before pointing an accusing finger at me. "You seem to think I’m praising you for being a virgin, but I can assure you that I’m not. You’d better pray that you last at least 30 seconds during your first time. I don’t want to have to console Eve or Beauty Lin later!"

A pair of uncles eating at the table next to ours immediately turned to stare at us. It didn’t take a genius to figure out what they were astounded about.

I shook my head and tossed half a lamb’s leg into Chaos Moon’s plate. "For heavens’ sake, is this enough of a bribe to keep your mouth shut? Anyway, let’s finish this up quickly. I have stuff to do at 12 pm later!"

Chaos Moon giggled. "I know. You’re attending the title conferment ceremony at Elephant City, right?"

"Title conferment ceremony?" I asked in confusion, "I was told that there would be a meeting of sorts, but a title conferment ceremony? What’s that?"

Chaos Moon replied, "How do you not know about this? The servers are practically exploding with the news! Apparently, God of War, Flowing Cloud, Breeze and Rain and Wild King will be holding a title conferment ceremony for you at Elephant Canyon at noon. From what I heard, your ‘coronation’ is among them as well. Obviously, I don’t know the exact details, but I do know that it won’t be long before the India server and the China server will go to war. I even heard that Red Maple, Cyan Frost, Purple Thunder and more Japan experts will be attending the ceremony as allied representatives. It’s very interesting. Only the India server knows how big the title conferment ceremony is going to be."

I gripped my fork tighter and said, "God of War is a shrewd man who keeps his cards close to his chest, so it’s better to be on guard for everything. It’s thanks to him that everyone knows I’m a ‘traitor’ pf my country in just a day’s time. It is not a good feeling."

Chaos Moon nodded. "Mn. Practically everyone besides Ancient Sword, Snowy Cathaya, The Monarch Descends, Blazing Hot Lips, Purple Lily and other allied guilds believes that you’ve truly betrayed the China server. You should know that these people won’t thank you for winning them the day again and again, but they’ll definitely insult you once you’re labeled a traitor. There are simply too many ingrates and mediocre people in this world."

I didn’t say anything as I sipped my soup.

Chaos Moon continued, "Currently, Warsky Alliance, Candle Dragon, Peach Garden, Snowy Cathaya, Gods of Destruction, Hegemon Palace, Mad Dragon, Rose of the Holy Domain, Hall of Immortality and more have assembled their troops to the north side of Thunder Mountain Range. Warsky claims that he’ll declare war on Elephant City, cross over Thunder Mountain Range and ‘stamp out the rebel’ personally the second you accept your title."

I raised my eyebrows. "Warsky? Hmph!"

Chaos Moon asked me again, "Seriously, what are you planning?"

I clenched my fists. "It’s nothing complicated. I’m just going to take back the City Map of Daybreak City Now and Forever wants to join the India server with. He cannot be allowed to succeed, or the China server will suffer a huge blow!"

For a while, Chaos Moon could only stare at me with her mouth open. Then, she abruptly rose to her feet and moved so close that her face was only a few inches away from mine. She said angrily, "Are you insane? You think you can retake the city map alone? God of War isn’t an idiot, he’s definitely going to keep an eye on you! Even if you succeed, how do you plan to return to the China server alive? You may have the Ancient Divine Dragon, but that doesn’t make you immune to death or infinite body camping! Don’t underestimate Elephant City’s power!"

I stood up and pressed down on her shoulder comfortingly. "Calm down, I know what I’m doing. I promise you I’ll return safely…"

"Hmph! Like I’d believe that!"

Chaos Moon dropped her utensils and her plate of crabs before walking away.

I hurriedly caught up to her and grabbed her hand. "Hey! Where are you going?"

Chaos Moon shook me off before saying, "Pooh! Where else? I’m going online and contacting Eve right away! She’ll take us to Elephant City and rescue your ass!"

I pursed my lips. "Seriously, there’s no need…"

"You may not care about your own life, but we do!" Chaos Moon glared at me with red eyes. I could see that she was one push away from breaking into tears.

Moved by her care for me, I grabbed her hands again and said, "Really, it’ll be fine. If you’re that worried about me, you can wait on the other side of Thunder Mountain Range. Don’t come over though, the last thing anyone needs is a war right now. We just took down Purple Grape City, and we need this time to recover all our losses…"

"I know. Hah, give me a moment to calm myself…" Chaos Moon sighed and fell quiet for a moment. Then, she looked up and said quietly, "You’re such a weird man, Lu Chen. I don’t know why, but us womenfolk just can’t help but fall in love with you. It’s not because you are rich, tall or handsome, but because you’re so… stupid. So, so stupid that we can’t help but want to protect you, and be protected by you…"

Surprised by her outburst, I said, "I would rather be the rich, tall, and handsome guy then…"

Chaos Moon burst into a giggle before punching me playfully. "In your next life, maybe!"
