My first strike was parried, but I spurred the Armored Ice Qilin Horse in the right direction and dished out another two slashes. A shudder later, Universe Break shattered his parry attempt and dealt an incredible amount of damage. His eyes were colored in shock. He clearly wasn’t expecting me to maintain a cool enough head and judgement to see through his parries despite all the battles I had gone through so far.

After his HP dropped below 25%, Breeze and Rain executed a triple-hit Blazing Slash at my Purple Ying Sword and exploited the knockback impact to move away from me. After he caught himself, he turned around and ran away at high speed. He was so fast that he was out of my range before I could do anything else.

The archers behind him didn’t belong to Cyan Beast, however. It belonged to the third strongest guild of Cyan Earth City, Flames of War. They were a full guild of archers!

Suddenly, a new group of cavalry appeared from the canyon somewhere to our flanks. Heaven knows how they managed to stay hidden until now, but the important point here was that we were now surrounded from all sides.
