Wild King’s face turned green immediately. In retaliation, he fired an icy axe beam that one-shot three low-health Dragonlight Cavalrymen before letting out a savage roar, "Don’t be afraid! Focus them down with Barrier Break! The Dragonlight Cavalry is China’s final trump card! Once they’re gone, China will become as threatening as a toothless tiger!"

As expected, the Divine Elephant Cavalry started exploiting their natural height advantage and killing our Dragonlight Cavalrymen with 3 to 5 Barrier Breaks. In just two minutes, 300 Dragonlight Cavalrymen had fallen to the enemy’s tactic. It was bad. While the enemy was losing far more troops than we were, the Divine Elephant Cavalry greatly outnumbered the Dragonlight Cavalry!

"Roar roar…"

The Phantom Wolf King roared angrily as it attacked the Divine Elephant Cavalry with Claws of the Storm. He Yi activated Great Earth Transformation and Godslaying Blade to torment all the Divine Elephant Cavalry within 20 yards of her. Who wouldn’t when they were losing 70k+ HP per hit and suffering from 50% splash effect no less? Even better, the gorgeous knightress had insanely high Defense and HP regeneration, and the skill to parry their attacks from time to time! Their classic Barrier Break tactic was completely useless against her!

"Chirp chirp…"

That wasn’t all. The Firelight Mouse was wagging its tail on He Yi’s shoulder and throwing waves and waves of magical fire into the enemy crowd. A draconic roar in the air also signaled the arrival of Murong Mingyue. The Ironwing Dragon swooped down from above, scratched at the Divine Elephant Cavalry’s heads, and puffed out a jet of draconic flames from time to time. It was very effective to say the least.

I sneaked a peek at Purple Grape City just in time to see an ice dragon ravaging the enemy while withstanding countless arrows and magic spells at the same time. Some of my allies might be untrustworthy for various reasons, but Lin Yixin and the Ice Dragon Kris? It was never a question.

Beiming Xue and the 4000+ Dragonlight Archers were riding along the edges of the battlefield when suddenly, the dark archer cried, "Halt! Skypiercer and Spiraling Arrow Blade 35 degrees to the northeast, then shoot in Far Shot mode at 45 degrees!"

A hail of arrows rained down on the Divine Elephant Cavalry. Their Attack was already gigaoverpowered, but it so happened that there was a Bloodfiend War Drum nearby as well. The attack immediately one-shot over a thousand half or low–health Divine Elephant Cavalry!

Beiming Xue ordered right after her troops let go of their bowstrings, "Onto the next location!"

They rode another one hundred yards before repeating the same tactic all over again. This time, the Divine Elephant Cavalry could stand it no longer.

Wild King roared in anger, "First squad, cut off those fucking mounted archers from the flanks! Second squad, surround them and kill them all!"

However, He Yi immediately responded with a confident smile, "Gui Guzi, attack their flank with 10000 Cyan Tiger Cavalrymen and cover for the Dragonlight Archers. Du Thirteen, take 10000 men with you and intercept Nation Guardian’s second corps. Xu Yang, take 10000 Cyan Tiger Cavalrymen with you, work together with Hegemon Palace and Mad Dragon, and surround the Divine Elephant Cavalry from all sides. Don’t let a single one of them escape!"

I was glad to see that He Yi maintained a clear head despite the chaotic battle surrounding us.

He Yi and I stayed behind to hold off the main bulk of the Divine Elephant Cavalry while the others left to carry out their orders. Our casualties were severe, but the Divine Elephant Cavalry’s were even worse than ours. In the end, Nation Guardian’s cavalry was no match for our Dragonlight Cavalry because the Dragonscale Beast was He Yi’s WEL champion reward, which we then duplicated using our Rank 10 Undead Castle unique skill. At the current stage of the game, there was literally no mount in the world that could surpass ours. It would be a long time before our legend was finally surpassed, and by then, we would’ve accumulated enough resources to equip all our players with Dragonscale Beasts!

Not far away, Little Piglet and Roaming Dragon were plaguing the Divine Elephant Cavalry like excited vultures as well. Little Piglet laughed loudly as he said, "They want to annihilate the Divine Elephant Cavalry! Holy fuck, Ancient Sword is such a nice ally to have! Let’s go, brothers! Surround these Nation Guardian players and fuck ‘em up!"

There were countless Chinese players on the ground, and it wasn’t long before they overwhelmed the entire 100k-strong Divine Elephant Cavalry. The Indians were strong, but they were majorly held down by the combined might of the Dragonlight Cavalry and Dragonlight Archers. As a result, Wild King was destined to pay for his arrogance and slaughter!

Boom!

Wild King used his Divine General Skill and blew back all the enemies within 40 yards of him with some sort of cyclone. He then ordered with bloodshot eyes, "We can’t suppress them any longer. All units, we will break out of the encirclement through the north! Our main force is just around the corner!"

"You think you can escape?!"

Gui Guzi chuckled and rushed toward Wild King. He raised the Spear of the Knight Guard over his head before bringing it down with a mighty shout like a sword.

Wild King sneered when he saw Gui Guzi’s overhead strike. He easily parried the attack by angling his axe sideways before making a grab for the Knight God’s waist chain [1] Maybe he was trying to lift him into the air and tear him in half like the ancient warrior Li Xuanba or something?

Too bad for him, Gui Guzi was no small fry for him to toy with. The undead knight caught Wild King’s shoulders at the same time the latter caught his waist chain and gave his Dragonscale Beast a mighty kick. He shouted as his mount charged toward Wild King powerfully, "Get down!"

Wild King wasn’t expecting this move and so was literally dragged off his elephant. He hurriedly kicked Gui Guzi’s arm off him before shouting, "Divine Elephant Cavalry, kill him!"

Seven or eight enemy riders immediately rushed to their guild leader’s aid and used Barrier Break. However, Gui Guzi zigzagged around them and parried all the skills that would hit with his shield and spear perfectly. Gui Guzi might not be good enough to parry a combo from a super-tier expert, but these people were nowhere near that.

"Help Little Gui!"

The moment I gave the order, Chaos Moon, High Fighting Spirits and Xu Yang immediately charged toward Wild King. Chaos Moon knocked aside a group of enemy magic knights who attempted to rescue their guild leader with Rock Crush. Xu Yang blasted Wild King’s back with Mountain Stagger Slash. Then, to the surprise of everyone, the guild leader took a Shock Arrow in the knee and was stunned! As it turned out, not even a super expert like him could dodge the random arrows that were flying all over the battlefield!

Gui Guzi guffawed at the unexpected good luck and threw Trapping Net on Wild King immediately. It was over!

"The contribution points are mine!"

Chaos Moon tried to swoop in for the kill, but her attack was knocked aside by Wild King.

It didn’t matter though. A couple Cyan Tiger Cavalrymen rushed over to beat the crap out of Wild King, and a moment later, the guy was dead like he never was. He never even got the chance to climb back onto his elephant!

Ding~!

I almost burst out in laughter. If Wild King didn’t die from anger after he was respawned at Cyan Earth City, he would die from the humongous dose of humiliation he just received. How could he not after dying not in the hands of a CGL Hall of Famer, but a Level 172 Cyan Tiger Cavalryman? Especially one with such an amazing ID...

Surprisingly, the Divine Elephant Cavalry didn’t give up despite losing their guild leader. Instead, their vice leader took over the command and continued fighting with everything they got. They had obviously received some sort of order from Wild King, and this wasn’t good news for us. The Divine Elephant Cavalrymen had an average HP of 400k or so, so it was incredibly tedious to kill them. Even if they just stood there and let us hit them, it would still take a significant amount of time for us to kill them all, not to mention that there were still tens of thousands of them!

Suddenly, another system announcement resounded across the sky and amused everyone. It was our number one mage finally ascending to become a Divine General!

Not far away from us, Lian Xin was attacking the Divine Elephant Cavalry with her group of mages. The moment she obtained the Divine General Skill, she immediately activated Great Earth Transformation and Grasp of the Mage God, causing the golden image of a god to enter her body. Her magic damage suddenly became a lot more deadlier than before, and she nearly one-shot an entire group of Divine Elephant Cavalry with a single Ice Spiral Matrix!

It was at this moment Hot and Sour Noodles suddenly sent me a message: "Watch out! Cyan Beast’s main force led by Breeze and Rain himself is heading your way! They’ll enter your vision in 5 minutes!"

"What the fuck!"

I groaned. Breeze and Rain, now of all times? Candle Dragon and Warsky Alliance must’ve failed completely in their attempt to stop the enemy, and God of War knew that the fall of Purple Grape City would be a huge blow to their India-Japan alliance. Moreover, the entire Japan server would turn into a neutral territory once Purple Grape City was gone, meaning that Japan’s players would have no choice but to live under another city’s roof. How humiliating would that be?

As it turned out, Hot and Sour Noodles’ prediction was overly optimistic. Just three minutes later, a long line of dust clouds and cavalry troops appeared on the horizon. Their leader was none other than Breeze and Rain, the man who beat Candlelight Shadow!
