"Kill!"

Gui Guzi, High Fighting Spirits, Xu Yang and other hot-blooded fighters couldn’t restrain themselves any longer. For now, an Immortal Rank boss was hot stuff, and everyone wanted at least a piece of it.

I was among the vanguard as I rode toward Candle Dragon at top speed. The Phantom Wolf King stayed close to me to prevent any enemy from sneaking up on me.

However, the sound of horse hooves started dispersing little by little, and we all noticed that the environment was covered in shrubbery and craggy rocks that were very detrimental to a cavalry charge. This was probably why Candle Dragon had dared to leave behind only a thousand mages and archers or so to guard the valley entrance. Most mounts would lose at least 75% of their movement speed in this terrain, and in this situation it was deadly to say the least.

A group of archers appeared on a hill, and their leader was none other than Transient Smoke and Clouds himself. He looked down on us from above while laughing. "Use Far Shot, Mountain Stagger Arrow and Shock Arrow to dismount Ancient Sword Dreaming Souls’ riders, people! Little Dance, we’re counting on you!"

There was an oppressive surge of magical energy, and the entire valley entrance fell as silent as the dead. Then, countless Arctic Rains, Fire Dragon Spells, Galaxy Storms and more erupted from the mages and enveloped the entire perimeter. It was terrifying to say the least!

My HP kept decreasing, so I hurriedly drank a Saint Spirit Potion to recover myself. Not far away from me, several Dragonlight Cavalrymen failed to withstand the magical bombardment and fell off their horses, dead. God dammit, God’s Dance and her party’s Magic Attack was just too much for us. Mage Soul drastically increased Magic Attack, and in this scenario it was super effective against heavy-armor classes like us!

Almost a hundred archers and mages were killed just like that. Someone among Candle Dragon shouted, "Fuck, what do we do?? Divine Generals are too powerful, and none of us can stop Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand!"

"Dragon’s Roar!"

God’s Dance ordered with steely eyes, and a group of mages aimed their scepters at Chaos Moon. The bombardment nearly one-shot the warrioress, and she barely escaped with 5% HP left. All blood drained away from her face as she whined, "OMG, how are they so powerful…"

Li Chengfeng was the next person to attempt a forced attack. He leaped into the air, surrounded himself with draconic images and shouted, "Dragonblade Revolution! Die!"

The AoE skill killed almost a hundred mages, but Candle Dragon was swift to replenish their numbers.

A pale-faced Candlelight Shadow replied, "Watch your back! The Northern Alliance is attacking us like crazy! They have a ridiculously powerful female mage with them!"

Countless wind blades sliced and diced into Transient Smoke and Clouds’ back before he could react, and Candle Dragon’s number one archer died just like that!

A pair of dancing shoes emerged from behind the valley entrance. It was a short female mage wearing a blue mage robe and wielding a ridiculously long scepter. A black cloak flowed down her back, and her face was obscured by the hood, but it was obvious that she was very angry. She muttered, "How dare you bastards take my boss. You are so dead…"

That wasn’t all. Candlelight Shadow turned around and ordered, "Blue Sky Scar, Tempest Shadow, Tiger Leopard Knight, go help them! That woman isn’t someone the likes of Warsky Alliance can handle!"

The generals accepted their orders and charged the female mage with dozens of high-level players as well.

The combat log marked it as “Gravity Trap”. It slowed everyone inside by 75%!

At this point, even I was starting to lose a bit of composure.

"Here I come!"

Lin Bing Dou Zhe was the first person to get close to the mage. He swung his sword at her, and the rest of the warriors worked with him by using their Barrier Breaks. If the attacks landed, she would be instakilled for sure!

The short mage took a few steps backward and waved her scepter again. The air around her immediately began freezing, and many complicated-looking runes and matrices appeared on the ground. A moment later, countless spiraling ice blades hit the attackers and killed all of them. Lin Bing Dou Zhe was the only one who survived, but even he only had 10% left in his health pool. His face was drained of all blood as he withdrew.

"Motherfucker! This is unacceptable!"

Unable to stand this any longer, Warsky charged forward to meet the mage. After he zigzagged around the Origin Force Fields, he closed the distance between himself and the mage and executed Flowing Light Slash + Cyan Tiger Shatter combo!

The mage looked surprised. She clearly wasn’t expecting Warsky to move as quickly as he did. While her Magic Shield ate both attacks and distorted a little, she retreated and dumped an Origin Force Field right where Warsky was. The spell knocked him back several yards and threw his form and movement into complete disarray.
