Hey yo. This is gonna be more of a diary entries than a story but hey. This will contain some game aspects, reincarnation and blah blah blah.
1st arc: Well isn't this just dandy.
This story follows a random guy who just happens to win a poker match against a whole pantheon of gods in an ametuer poker tournament. He won the tournament then went home, afterwards dying by slipping on a banana peel to an open manhole then being eaten by a sewer croc of legends. Ok fine he died by hitting his head too hard on the concrete floor.
The random guy just so happens to die on the same day as eleven other random people caused by slipping of a banana peel. Oh yeah they also have beaten the mentioned pantheon of gods one way or another, well an example would be rock paper scissors, an mmo, drinking games and more. In simple terms they're shit at games.
What could possibly go wrong.

AntiHero's FIRST REWRITE IN THE WORKS - thanks!! :] EDIT 2/28/22 - sorry, health problems right now, but I will post after rewriting the first 80-90,000 words or so and start fresh from there! But I feel the need to emphasize that a lot of parts are written in improvised comic book format as my primary writing style, and this first book is actually the entry point and starting novel for an entire very vast series I am in the works of developing. Many side characters here will eventually be main characters with there own stories; long or short. But this one particularly will be focused and centralized around Noel. Because of this, I do plan to leave the introduction for side characters as still having a special flow for readers to witness a tad of their background, so keep that in mind after my 'obviously many' rewrites from now and going into the future! Sorry for the troubles! I will improve on my style and implementation of the story!(Although I DO plan to keep parts as 'play style' or rather, comic book style, since I find it easier for certain dialogue instances as well as the fact that the novel is inspired by that 'feeling' you get while reading comic books. This story mainly takes place on an artificial continent where all countries have sent over their respective talents, meaning characters of ALL cultures and ethnic backgrounds will show hints of that in their names. Please don't assume I'm just randomly naming characters names that don't match them. And feel free to talk to me about whatever in my story troubles you - no matter how small! He manages to construct gear superior to even that of legend. Using his unrivaled skill, he defeats onslaught after onslaught of demonic and monstrous armies, eliminates disease that plagues the world to a seemingly unstoppable degree, and takes care of any and all problems this dangerous world seems to currently face. But... as the opposing force progressively becomes more difficult to fend off, Cereo comes to find out that this gimmick of his is not all that it takes to protect Sabarum. Furthermore, he begins to question whether or not the protection of this land is what's truly important.
