From the great city-state of Argos, Praxis is just such a man who could become that hero. The stepson of the city's king, Praxis is a warrior of great renown, especially for his young age. But the world is changing. Threats are emerging from every direction, especially from the south where the dreaded Spartans live. With a deadly enemy in front of him and an insidious plot behind him, Praxis will have to find his place in the world . . . or die trying.
