Anya is bored and lonely. Her friends have gone away to summer camp and she is left alone in her tiny forest village. When she meets Gabriel, the boy whose family has moved in next door, it seems that she has made a new friend. But all is not well in the village. Disciple Phobia, (pictured on the cover) an exceptionally evil spirit and a villain from one of my dystopian universes, manages to break through into Anya's world and her nefarious agenda of universal destruction threatens everyone.

Can Anya and Gabriel race against time to defeat Phobia? For time is running out and if they fail, it's the end of everything. And Anya is not all she seems. Gabriel may suspect more about her than she knows about herself, but he isn't telling her. Why not?

This story is set in a parallel universe with less advanced technology than our own, in a forest that is meant to resemble old rural Saxony. Notice the way Anya talks, she sometimes addresses people as "Dear (insert their name)" Other slang will be explained at the end of each chapter.
