The world has changed dramatically, and Max is having trouble coming to grips with real live superheroes popping up and running around. He's been away, you see. While he'd prefer to live a nice peaceful life, villains, criminal organizations, and monsters make that hard. It's even worse when assailants try to kidnap a kid right in front of your face. What's a guy to do? To beat 'em, he'll have to join the heroes, and see if the day can be saved.
