In an attempt to locate a valuable item, eighteen-year-old childhood friends Nyz and Kal find themselves dealing with powerful corporations, terrorist groups, and the dark secrets of the magitech which protects and betters civilization. Their attempts at obtaining this item lead them deep into the fog which permeates much of the world, blanketing it in a cool, silent darkness within which hides deadly monsters. With Kal's planning and Nyz's strength and combat abliity, there is no obstacle they cannot overcome, and they are willing to do whatever it takes to obtain the item, no matter the challenge, no matter what or who gets in their way.
