His life will change when 800-year-old Ryu appears in Kyoto, looking for a lost temple; and Aya, a beautiful hacker with a unique disease, learns that XHumans aren't as perfect as they thought.

They've edited out the genes which allow for Cultivation.

That will give Ken a chance to surpass them.

And maybe save the world from an impending cataclysm.

I'm an epic fantasy author, but this is my first foray into Xianxia! My day job is Chinese Medicine, and I teach Wing Chun and practice Taiji and Liu He Ba Fa, so there will be real life elements in this story. Please let me know how I can improve!
