After a summer of fun with Will, Cora has to go back to her small town in Texas. She is bummed about her new long distance relationship with Will. The couple is willing to make it work.
Come football practice, Cora meets the new guy, Logan Bailey. Logan has wedged himself into her friend group while she's be away and now she's back and open to meeting new friends.
Meanwhile back in South Bend, Indiana, Eleanor "Ellie" West sneaks her way into Will's sights. Will and her immediately click and become friends.
