On a late night on the 15th of June 2018 in the middle of England, a teenage girl died in a hit-and-run. A few months later, her friends have started college. They plan to get over the loss and do something in her memory, but things end up going a bit haywire when guns are pointed at them and they are soon struck by lightning. They try to go home to forget the day but between the discovery of superpowers and the arrival of a serial killer, it appears to be a lot harder than it sounds...
