When humans finally make it out of the their cradle solar system they find a galaxy teeming with life just waiting to meet them. But not all of it is friendly. The first explorers stumble on a secret that the Colph will do anything to keep and a power they'd do anything to acquire.

Hounded from star to star, Captain Corwin and his crew must find a way to survive the Colph while struggling to unlock an ancient and terrific power... or die trying.
