In a single night, a group of friends are torn asunder, and must reunite in a ruined heaven.

It begins with a familiar tune: a group of high schoolers: Angela, Esther, Jonathan, Matheo and Yewon (who called themselves the Engkantos) were trying to get by a normal teenage life. All of which changed when, one night Yewon was kidnapped by a spirit, pulled into a balete tree, and brought to the broken heaven of Paraiso. 

Now the four of them must travel into the heaven of the multiverse, facing angels, demons, saints, spirits, gods and other creatures, to rescue their friend, and they must become KARANDUUN, before she is forced to become the new Twilight Devil Empress of Creation.
