In a land quite unlike our own, a certain girl bravely fought against the being only known as the Lord of Darkness. Alas, right at the end of their battle, with the last of his strength the Lord of Darkness managed to pierce the girl's heart with his final spell. 

However, it was not her fate to perish that day. Even if her body failed, her soul lived on. Fate decreed her to live on in another world with another body.
