The fight is over, the enemy destroyed, the world is saved… technically.

“Stand Fast!” The general called over the din of battle. “We will hold this line! The future depends on us! To whatever end!”

Richard believed him, and that’s why he had bound his soul to the Arcstone, in hopes of containing the rift forever. If only he had learned more before making that final sacrafice.

When the battle is done, and the world is ‘saved’ what happens to those left behind?
